Hacking so i have a 8.1J FW N3DS with no browser, how can i exploit it?

i mainly need to play region free and play hacked roms for increased difficulty and UNDUB .

i have searched here and there but the amount of information and cfw is overwhelming , and i couldn't figure out how to launch them without a browser.

Edit : for those who just want to get to the point thi is TL;DR version

We need a list of whats possible on 8.1J and what is not.
The information is scattered all over the place, ao there might be ideas coming up multiple times.

So from the obvious first
Possible:
- Gateway 3DS -> Through Cubic Ninja? Or OoThax?

- MSET downgrade -> but no ROP chain available?

- Smashbroshax?

Not possible:
- Any browserhax (old Spiderhax, new Browserhax (Spider and Skater)) -> No Browser on 8.1

- Themehax -> No theme support (for all regions?)

- Ninjhax -> v1.1 Grabs data via webbrowser? v2.x has no support for 8.1

- Tubehax -> No payload generation for 8.1(also grabs data via webbrowser?)

- Ironhax -> No exploitation w/o other *hax (Tubehax).

At the very least, I can confirm that Gateway works through Cubic Ninja, and the MSET downgrade also works.

No forms of *hax works without an EmuNAND running a newer firmware due to no browser support. *hax 2.0+ obviously drops support for firmwares before 9.0 anyway.

yup it seems that it is from the first white N3DS batch, it really is confusing

You'll probably need to use Zelda OOT as entrypoint and it may require gateway, not sure if current CFWs can boot from zelda.

Came out in a rush and so it didn't include it. Soon after 9.0 was released for N3DS and already brought it.

Just use GW and wait till someone releases an update to 9.1 or mset. Both are close

I have just bought such console myself. Was super hyped to find one with <9.2 but didn't knew it doesn't come with the browser installed. Now I have no idea what to do, tried to find cubic ninja on akihabara but can't find it anywhere, I'm running out of options and would love to hear your opinion on this matter. I believe I can still return the console, and if there's no way to hack it, I will probably do that.

Ronhero and Lemanuel are finalizing their methods. If you can't wait, JPN CN + Gateway or Sky3ds + Gateway combos are your best options. Sky3ds alone can play games but probably no eshop access.

Hunt it down at local stores. If there is none, you can always get a sky3ds later to emulate that.

To be honest, I don't need roms, just wanted a region free method and English emuNand on this console. I could use 10.0.1 with homemenuhax and regionFour but I'm afraid it will soon be patched. I believe emuNand is much more safer method.
