Hardware HELP! My new GPU temperature is a bit high, I wanna keep it lower...

I have a Gigabyte Low Profile GTX 750 OC 2GB and the fans run @52% max while the GPU temp goes to 80 degrees while gaming. I can manually change the fan speed but why doesn't the GPU automatically make it faster? And what else can I do to keep my GPU cooler? I don't care if it makes a lot of noise (the fans). I've heard that the higher the temps , the shorter the life of the GPU. Some people say this is normal but some say it's too hot. I'm confused. So any suggestions?

Try to speed up the fans, and lower the max fps while playing games, i have a asus strix gtx 960 and it crashes in counter strike or most pc games when it runs at a too high fps, and turn on vsync in the games you are playing.

Yea I have V-Sync on and FPS is capped at 60. So speeding up the fans should help a lot?

Yeah, maybe try speeding it up to 75, or even 90 percent if you do not mind noise, it should help lower the temperature

Ahh I got it. I installed an extra chasis fan blowing directly on the GPU and guess what? It doesn't excede 55 degrees under full load! Im so happy
