Don't know for sure, but I imagine it would be easier to code for, I've seen emu devs say how hard it is to get rid of clicking etc with csound, having to use looped buffers or whatever. Should just be able to throw the audio at the DSP service and let it deal with the intricacies. I guess it might allow audio effects like filtering too.So exactly what would that help? I know that means better audio, but for developers, would that mean less resources used or less RAM usage since it's streaming audio?
