I saw a second hand Dstwo on Carousell, my country's Ebay and I am unsure whether it's a fake. I have a bad experience with flashcards in the past as my dealer(in the form of a game shop near my apartment) has always sold me clones. This is the only picture the seller has provided

Update : I brought the product and it was flawless, and for only 30 SGD too. Thanks to the replies, I am now a proud owner of the Dstwo. [emoji2]

Well, I suppose you can never be 100% certain without comparing the insides, but this looks exactly like my legit dstwo, including the bumps where the sticker covers the chips etc in the card. I'd vote it's real.

I don't think so either. Cloning the onboard CPU would be too expensive and clones would probably not include it, but looking at the picture there is definitely a large chip under the sticker which is probably the CPU.
Thank you, I am meeting the seller later to test the product out and from the looks of the reply, I might actually get my first decent flashcard [emoji4]
there are no fake dstwo's afaik

What others have said, making a fake DSTwo would cost way too much since it has a CPU inside of it.

You can always peal off that sticker on the front to see if it's real underneath, but I wouldn't since it might not stick back on.

Sure there was one but it was called DSTWOi:

I suppose you could just slap the name DSTWO onto any flashcart and call it a fake, but there hasn't been a fake that is actually believable. That clearly doesn't have a dedicated CPU inside, if you fall for that you should have done your research.

I think that it got sold as DSTWO and you can't see the PCB with normal store pictures.
