Hacking What are the things needed to put in my R4i-gold.eu 3ds?[NOOB]

ihaver 4i-gold.eu but its empty with a 2gb mem card may i know what to put on the mem card so mine will work? Im on v7.1.0-16U. Ive been looking all over the internet for any help regarding this problem. I also hve the metroid prime icon on my r4 whenever i put it in.

You could try this patched 1.82.. IDK how many card this works with... Some have had success

My internet said that 1.44b form 2011 is the latest kernel for this card.

the odds of that working on his 3DS with his current FW though...

and from the looks of it, the kernel i linked to is pretty much the same but more up to date

Kernel doesn't matter for 3DS compatibility, he needs a firmware update. I'm gonna venture a guess and say that there's no firmware update that will make it compatible with his 3DS seeing as the website is down.

Kernel doesn't matter for 3DS compatibility, he needs a firmware update. I'm gonna venture a guess and say that there's no firmware update that will make it compatible with his 3DS seeing as the website is down.

Nintendo haven't been blocking DS flashcarts in a long time so it probably still works. You will need another console that can boot the flashcart in order to run the firmware update though, like a DS lite.

I'm not sure if your card support 7.1.0 or not... In the r4i-gold.eu website archive they have many version of flashcard with 4.5 mark, 6.1 mark, etc. that indicate which 3DS firmware the card is working on. You should try update your firmware, as The Real Jdbye said.

The latest English kernel that can be retrieved using Wayback Machine is 1.69b
