Homebrew New 3ds GBA and SNES emulation, what is the best option?

While looking around i see different people saying different emulators work best.

What I'd like to know is on a new 3ds XL running CFW, what is the best option to run GBA roms?
I know there's GBA injection with AGB_Firm and that it works well, if you play the game as is. But i'd like to have options emulators can give such save/load states.

As for SNES emulation, there are several emulators to choose from and different builds to be found, can anyone tell me what the best option is?

For GBA I prefer mGBA and for SNES I use blargSNES

But I don't use mGBA because I have an O3DS and it is too slow, but for N3DS its faster.

Haven't gotten RetroArch to work, so can't really say anything about that

BlargSNES works full speed for me, I have not experience any slowdowns.

the only retroarch emulators i've gotten to run are NES and Gameboy, the others are slow and laggy compared to their competitors like mgba and blargsnes

GBA: CitrAGB is now able to harness the power of the New 3DS, and mGBA isn't too shabby on new 3DS from what I've heard.

SNES: BlargSNES is good for Old 3DS owners, however, the Catsfc Retroarch port apparently runs really well on New 3DS, and has compatibility with Add-On chips, which BlargSNES doesn't.

I use Catsfc RetroArch (for somes games like Chrono Trigger and Tales of Phantasia who doesn't work well or don't work at all) and BlargSnes for SNES.

CitrAGB is currenly the slowest emulator for non-kernel users. Use CatSFC RetroArch and mGBA.

What would be a non-kernel user? I guess someone using firmware 9.3+ right? I'm running ReiNAND myself, on 9.2 firmware.

Plus has better sound but it's slightly slower.

mGBA is a small but improving emulator which is good for the N3DS even though its still in alpha its had alot of nightly updates....

Coming from something that continously froze alot when it was first released !!! Its getting better everyday

As for SNES

Blarghsnes and catsfc are you best options

Which mGBA Version are people talking about here? The one from team Libretro or endrift? Is there even a difference in performance between these two?
