Gaming Sword Art Online Hollow Fragment Engrish

How bad is is the engrish in the game, is it early 90s games or is it even worse. I've heard it said that it' salmost like ran through google translate multiple times.

I can't understand how a game company can produce such a bad translation of a game. Or even not go back in and do some basic editing. From what I understand it's all subbed so why they wouldn't just fix it in a patch is beyondme.

So anyway how bad is it? I know that it's psn only which is why I am hesitant to get it, since it was retail I could try it for myself find out if I hate it and then return it for very little cost.

I haven't played it yet, but from what I've seen and heard I imagine something like this...

You can usually get the general idea, but the word choice is awkward at best. (And there are occasional spots where the description just doesn't make sense, so you might want to use a guide.)

Also, it's interesting to note that the western version does have some differences from the English in the asian version... My best guess is that they did "blind editing", meaning people were just given a sentence or paragraph with no context and asked to edit it. As for "how bad it is", that's really subjective... Some people, especially those who regularly play imports with no translation, aren't bothered by it. Others who only accept the most polished of games say it is "terrible".

They fixed some of it , i didn't see that penetration thing tbh , but it's still hilarious ! xD
I agree , it gives it some charm , it actually makes it unique .
now i am hoping lost song won't be so bad like this one xD because it's an amazing game

I saw a walkthrough of an import of LS online and it looks like it's actually intelligible.

Also, the look of satisfaction on Asuna's face while Klein is talking about penetrations.....

i saw one too but didn't watch too much so i won't get spoiled , but i gotta say , the game looked really beautiful and amazing ! the objects and 3D characters were a perfect fit for the Vita's hardware , they're a lot better than SAO:HF which is mostly an "HD" remaster of Infinity Moment ...

I didn't watch too much either, just wanted to see how the general gameplay was. I agree though. It's damn beautiful. Definitely on my list of Vita games. Well whenever I actually get my Vita (Sometime next week it looks like)

oh you can't believe how much i am excited for it ! even though it only released in Asia, it's coming to the west in November 17th i think ...
and are you planning to get the 2000 model or 1000 ? both are the same anyways xD

Not entirely sure. I sold my 3DS and I'm using the money from that to get one used. Both models are within my price range. I'm one of those guys that likes a "hefty" machine and of course, the OLED screen of the 1000 is awesome. Though I also like the design of the 2000 and the LCD screen isn't bad either.

So whichever version I end up with that lets me play HF and P4G.

Aha , i gotta say they aren't different at all , except for the screens , if you don't own both you won't notice the difference .
if you love the "heavy" and bulky design then take the 1000, if the opposite get the 2000 , it has better battery life after all

I've heard that's more or less the only major difference. Battery life isn't as much of a factor as I'm usually not away from a plug long enough. The 1GB onboard storage on the slim IS nice, but there's no way I'm getting a vita without a memory card anyway.

I can also attest to the awesomeness. Though honestly, I don't think it's all that "Harem-y". At least not compared to something like Love Hina or Tenchi Muyo.

Asuna was interesting in the first arc. Afterward she seemed delegated to "Kirito's cheering squad" and people seem to forget that she's close to Kirito's level. Her fight with Yuuki was pretty badass, but I haven't gotten any further than that.

She was super badass in the first 12 episodes , after that she became more and more annoying with her love for Kirito, i didn't really like the Alfheim arc but i gotta say, she really was awesome with her fight with Yuuki xD
she's useless in the GGO arc too , Sinon herself was more useful than Asuna
P.S : For some reason there is rape in every arc...
