I have an old base 3DS on 9.7.0-25E without any wireless possibilities due to crashes whenever the wireless switch is on. Is there a possibility for haxes, considering I have both OOT3D (some saves are occupied but not the first one), Smash Bros 3DS and Youtube (which probably won't work on that one due to no wireless) on that 3DS ? And if yes, how ?

Thanks in advance.

He's right I think...to install the Ocarina of Time exploit you need to run the installer...which needs an exploit to run..

The best thing you could do is if Oot is on cart than you install it on another 3ds and then use it on yours.

I think...I've only been into this for about a week.

You should be able to use OoThax, but you'll need a premade .sav, and a way to get it onto the cart (R4i SaveDongle will work, they're only around $10)

Edit:
I can install Oothax on another 3DS (I've got both a 2DS and a 3DS XL on Ironhax), forgot to mention it.
That makes things easier. I haven't tried OoThax so I don't know if it's firmware version-specific (Gateway's OoT hack isn't), that might complicate things if you try installing it on a firmware version different than the one you are going to use it on. There's a good chance it's not version specific, so you should give it a shot.

Yah if you have a friend who has a 3ds you could install the exploit.

I have a Powersaves, so I should be able to use OoThax. I'll give it a shot.

Thanks for the information.

In regards to the wireless problem, have you ever thought of opening it up an re-seating the wifi card.
It's possible the card came loose due to a drop or just over time, and others have reported similar crashes until doing just this.

Here's a video of someone doing in on youtube:

I just gave a try at re-seating the wifi card, and wifi worked without problems. However, another problem rises - It isn't Youtube which is available on the SD card, but the link to download Youtube on the eShop, which would need to update. Is it worth it to update now to access eShop and download Youtube to go to Tubehax, or should I aim for another option ?

Since it's on 9.7, I don't think there has been anything useful patched in the newer updates. Someone else should probably confirm this though.
