Hardware My (Ambassador, New) 3DS controls itself at random times, only C-Stick and Home Button work

What can I do against that?
The first time it occurred was in ACNL, the cartridge version. When I opened my pocket and sorted stuff, the on-screen hand moved to the top left, I couldn't press any button except the Home and C-Stick. Maybe Start and Select worked too. After I was on the home screen, the cursor moved itself from right to left, like, indefinitely. It happens on Sm4sh, a digital game too. What can I do against it?

I don't want to play For Glory with messed up controls, you know. And the only thing that cancels this weird stuff out is going to the home menu, resetting the battery or removing the SD card, though it happens without it too. But thing is, calibrating the touch screen or circle pad don't do anything. The touch screen is normal, but when the messy stuff happens, it doesn't feel if it's being touched.
Oh, by the way, the problem occurred less often when screwing in the back cover of the N3DS.

did you try fully turning it off and resetting the analog nub right in the dead center? nintendo is notorious for having peripherals with stuck buttons/sticks that mess up the whole hardware on boot. this was very common with the gamecube.

Of course, that's the first thing I tried after that problem happened again, but the thing is the ABXY-Buttons and the touchscreen are haunted too when that happens.

I have an O3DS that does that. I fixed my ABXY buttons (there was dirt under the buttons), but I found out that the D-pad down button's connector is corroded. The connector seems to have melted into the gap that is used to tell when the button isn't being pressed. So since there's metal in said gap, it always thinks I'm pressing the down button. On the home screen, it will constantly scroll down on it's own. The only way to stop it is to take a metallic object (like a pocket knife) and press down on the connector to the up button, or constantly flick the up button on the control stick. However, the only reason I can do that is because I took out(broke out) the D-Pad to see what was wrong (which was a horrible mistake, don't do it). This issue makes most games unplayable. The only game that works on my broken O3DS without d-pad interference is ACNL.

Long story short, you may have dirt under your buttons or a corroded connector. Most likely it's dirt/dust. Carefully clean it out if you can.
I'm not sure how the N3DS works with it's connectors, but try to clean the dirt out and see if it helps.

When I dissambled my 3ds I was half ass and wanted to test it to make sure it turned on without reconnecting the analog. And the 3ds home menu would go in a infinite scroll until I powered off and connected the analog. so maybe your analog is faulty might be?

I found out this problem only happens when I charge the 3DS or some time after charging it! Guess something is really wrong there.
It isn't a faulty analog stick or D(Direction, I think that's what the D stands for)-Pad, since the controls are just messed up with periodically changing directions, and the touchscreen is numb too when that happens.
Guess I'll have to hide any trace of homebrew on my 3DS (But how?) and use my warranty.

Forgot that there was 1 other situation I seen where the borders that overlap the bottom touch screen may have debris stuck under it. For instance, my friends 3ds had the double stick tape holding the border on the left side crumble up and the pressure from it made it scroll to the left. And it took a week to track that down as it would not happen always. So try to check under the plastic border to see if you can see any opening.
