LOL I guess growing up in Scotland I am just used to it being called the megadriveWeird, I honestly always thought Mega Drive was a dumb name and much preferred the name Genesis.
I've got no problem with either name, but let's face it, Megadrive is its true name

Yeah I can understand that mentality, I'm sure in Japan, they feel the same about the Famicom and Super Famicom.

Actually, despite the fact that I own a snes, I follow through with my previous logic and consider super famicom to be the true name of that console too.
"Sorry dear, I thought you wanted to play Senran Kagura, not Pikmin... silly me... oh well..."My wife calls every Nintendo machine simply by Nintendo and as I own the lot it gets confusing when she says let's play the Nintendo lol

can you point us to a tutorial or a thread with some info? thanks a lot ^^Not currently, however, they have discovered how to inject genesis roms into Sega 3D classics, so if you can install .cia files, you can get your favorite genesis games on your 3DS, I have the Sonic 3 and Knuckles Complete rom working at full speed on my 3DS.
Ah, but, you see, that takes a lot of time. XDcan you point us to a tutorial or a thread with some info? thanks a lot ^^

Yeah.same, here. being from Asia, I still find it weird calling the megadrive genesis.
what I loved about the super famicom/snes and the genesis/megadrive were that they were region free back then. sure, carts from other regions wont fit on your console, but all you had to do was pop out the game board from the cart and insert it and there you go.
