Has anyone made a teardown to the garden.bin for ACNL?

Nearly all of the tools like map editors and such for ACNL are for RAM dumps, but I'm using a garden.bin. There's a very nice web-based editor for garden.bin that edits a lot of things, but I want to be able to edit the actual layout of my town, like being able to change the land tiles like in the map editor for RAM dumps floating around.

I want to do it with a hex editor, but there's no teardown yet.

Thanks so very much!

This is fantastic! Thank you so much!

Whenever I drop my garden.dat file into NLSE, it just says "File checksums were not updated (already valid)". How can I use the editor?

My save editor works also with garden.dat files and you can edit acres in the latest version :-)
I just saw the new update...it's incredible! It's even more aesthetically pleasing than it was before, with new functions, too!
You've done a lot of excellent work to make this what it is, and it's incredible to see so much dedication. Thanks a lot!

I have a acnlram.bin file and I want to inject it using my save_manager tubehax homebrew. Is there any way of converting it into a garden.dat and exhibition.dat etc etc

So is there anyway to convert my old 1.8MB acnlram.bin file into a useable garden.dat file to import to my animal crossing retail cart using save data manager?

You can convert it to garden.dat with NLSE

Forgive my ignorance, but how exactly does one go about doing that? I was able to import my save into NLSE, but there is no option to convert. Don't know if I'm missing something or if I'm using an outdated version.

On the "Map" tab, there should be an option on the bottom right which says "Import RAM/DAT" and "Export RAM/DAT". Click Export to save your DAT file as a RAM or vice versa.

I have no clue what that means, how do you do it?
https://gbatemp.net/threads/antisav...value-updater-ps-acnl-prw-ssb-xy-oras.396644/
Antisavegame restore is a value (secure value) that is generate each time a digital game saves. This value is stored both at the 3ds and at the savegame of the given title. When the game loads the savefile, it checks the stored value against the one in the 3ds, if they don't match (i.e. if we restore an old savegame using savedata_manager or svdt) the game will tell you that the savedata us corrupted, then it will erase the savegame and start a new blank one.
Only a handful of games use the Antisavegame restore.
The Secure value is stored in a cartridge game savefiles, but it isn't used for obvious reasons.
More information: http://3dbrew.org/wiki/Anti_Savegame_Restore
You can restore the secure NAND value with my editor or with suloku's tool.
The anti-savegame restore value is not in the NAND, it's stored in the save. Is the 'secure NAND value' a different thing?
The value is in both places ;-) They must be the same in order to check if the game is compatible. If they are different, then the game tells you data is corrupted.

Looks like I'm definitely using an outdated version then. I have the option to Import/Export but not to convert. Time to do some searching I suppose :)

I'm having some problems with failed injections and I need help finding a way to restore my girlfriend's town. I get the " Save data could not be loaded because it was not the last data saved" sort of thing. Please message me as soon as possible :)

I downloaded the NLSE.09-24-15 version and I still can't find the option to convert acnlram.bin to garden.dat. Any help please?
