So I tried to download the DSTwo plugin for this, and my laptop tells me that the .RAR file that supposedly contains the plugin is in an incorrect format or damaged. Just thought you might want to know. If it matters, it tries defaulting to use my browser to open it for some reason.

Edit: I'm also having a problem where using save states occasionally crash mid-save and force me to reload my last hard save.

If anyone can get in touch with the creator can you please tell them to make the l button toggle speed up instead of making me hold the l button the whole time I am playing?

Drenn does still check the forums. That seems like an very small thing to worry about, though. You could probably just implement a basic toggle yourself, as the sourcecode is open. Also, you'd be better off asking politely instead of just coming off as rude.

EDIT: Nevermind, I just checked the sourcecode and found a toggle already implemented. You just have to set it in the button mapping interface. I never use the fast forward, so I didn't know.

It sometimes seems like I don't check the forums because... I get tired of answering the same questions... and there's no update news or anything :P

Look in Key Config, and change Fast Forward to FF Toggle.

how do I use gameshark/game genie codes with pokemon crystal???:nds:
You need to download a .cht file, see the first post for details.

Yeah, I am avoiding more and more threads that could be answered if the person just did a basic search. I didn't know there was a toggle already (I never touch the fast forward function), so I decided to go into the sourcecode for the fun of it and see if I could implement one. I was a bit surprised to find one already. I edited my post just as you were posting. :glare:

Oh well, messing with others' sourcecodes is a bit interesting and it took less than a minute to find it, so I don't feel like it was a waste of time. :)

Hi guys, new to this emulator. Does this emulator zip support? All my Gameboy roms are zipped atm.
I can't remember. Either it does but it has troubles with larger ZIP files or it doesn't at all. Either way, I'd just extract the ROMs from the ZIP files and use them clean. At this point, they don't take up much space at all.

I know but a whole collection would take yonks to unzip individually.
Were there really that many good games on the GB? I can only think of maybe roughly twenty at max. Oh well, you can try them, just can't guarantee they'll work. Just unzip the ones that don't work.

The plugin download seems broken, it's actually downloading a 404 error page named as an rar file.

Someone wanna re-upload it?

Drenn, thanks a lot for making this! It's the best way to play GB other than the real machine. It looks amazing on DSi XL. Plus, the DS resolution is perfect for gameboy emulation. On 3DS, it feels tiny.

Please don't give up on the DS version :-) It might not seem like it, but I bet many others are silently checking here to see when there are updates.
