Hello – just enquiring to whether this is possible - I haven't found a thread on it (apologies if I've missed one).

I have things working well with a large capacity SD card for Gamecube games using USB Loader GX, and other emulation etc. I've been using a USB stick to import my Wii games and I can play them from that stick. However I wish to transfer the Wii games to sit alongside the Gamecube games on the SD card and find a way to file structure them and configure USB Loader GX to find and use them. Yes, I get the Irony of trying to do this with something called 'USB' loader but the programme recognises the Gamecube games from SD so I'm hoping it is possible.

This would avoid the Wii U format disk pop-up since it seems the SD is only ever used for the vWii yes?

Any help is much appreciated. Bruno

Yes, it was possible since before the Wii U.
You could have tried instead of asking.
It would take you a minute or so.
To sarkwalvevien: Who said I didn't try before asking? I did try it, but was hoping it didn't work because of a lack of understanding the required file structure/program configuration as I suggested above. Instead of just suggesting how stupid I must be - how about actually telling me how to do it, since you clearly seem to think it so easy. Put your money where you mouth is - otherwise what help is your comment? Also your comment is contradictory to the useful comment with *actual advice* form TecXero. It would be my guess that he knows what he is talking about and your just shouting your mouth off. Please try to be more helpful to your fellow forum members next time.

To TecXero: Thank you - I will try WiiFlow - though I confess to being a little attached to USB Loader GX. Is there any advice you would give using Wiiflow?

There's also CFG Loader. I don't really have any advice as I haven't used them in a long time. I was just throwing that out as an example. There are threads dedicated to different loaders, though, so you can probably find all the information you need from those.

There's hope for a Xenosaga port.

Oh man, don't be so touchy, where did you read I was calling you stupid?
In any chance I was hinting you were lazy, my mistake, but at least don't put some other words in my mouth.
Regarding this, I don't use vWii or usb loaders since a long time ago, and I don't remember exactly how to do it, but I think you had the choice to select whatever you wanted in the first screen using configurable usb loader.
Go, download it, try it. I won't go unbox my Wii U and plug it again just to try it for you.

Ok, thanks again - I'll check out those treads

Ok, and thanks for the reply. Please understand my reaction is because it takes some confidence to ask these questions in such forums - you can easily get shot down for 'not trying' etc... anyway thanks again.

Bruno, your original question was entirely reasonable. I remember trying to figure that out a while back too, before settling on WiiFlow for that purpose. (I also very much prefer USB Loader GX to the other options.)

Thanks burnbrunrocket. Good to know it's a worthwhile question. Did you find any other loaders that allowed SD use for Wii?

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it

I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then

How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
