Hacking Just bought my first 3DS, wanting to get in to the hacking scene =)

Hello, i'm new user here and new to the 3DS also. I've always loved console hacking scene and modifying my consoles. So far i'm a bit overwhelmed about all this information on 3DS hacking this site can offer.
My purpose for this thread was to check if this video is still valid




I have read the noob guides but following a video guide would be the best for me since i'm really new to 3DS overall. What i want is CFW (rxTools is the best for old 3DS it seems). That video was the best i could find and it's really easy to follow.

ps. My 3DS fw is 4.2.0

tl;dr: If you would be so kind to review that video guide and tell me if it's still valid, things can change rapidly over few weeks sometimes.

You will need to find the needed firmware.bin on that iso site.

Which firmware is your 3ds on? Are you sure it is firmwareable?
