I also own Action Replay powersaves, I used the unlock everything code but I'm sure that doesnt apply to content that needs to be downloaded. Could I download the files somewhere online and put them in the proper folder of my SD card?

That's a great game, although the cutscenes are really weird because you don't move.

I think that the DLC is probably tied to the console, so I doubt that would work.
Can I email the devs about extending the DLC to me? I'm even willing to pay for it, being late to the party and all.

Firmware aside, is the Gateway the only device thats able to install CIA files? I'm aware the highest firmware Gateway can support is 9.2, I know that already.
I believe it's possible to use .cia's with some of the CFW, but again, you're at 9.9, so you can't use CFW. While Sky3DS supports 9.9 (to my knowledge), it doesn't support .cia's.

It looks like they didn't go through the eShop, and I think that means you can't get it as a CIA.

It's just costumes though, so it's not a huge deal.
I dont care how insignificant it is, I would of payed to have that content but I admit I'm late to the party. If the data exists on SD cards then there must be a way to install it on other 3DSes to have it registered. In the meantime I'll try emailing the devs about this if its possible for them to help me receive the DLC.

On 9.2 and below you can use PastaCFW, rxTools, and I think a few others to install and play CIA's. 9.3 and above, you're screwed (for now).

As long as the possibility exists then thats good to know. You made it sound like I was completely screwed over no matter what my firmware was or if I had gateway.

We've been talking about the current state of things. I'm still not sure it will ever be possible though. I don't know how DLC works if it doesn't come from the eShop as a downloadable title.

I lost my old cartridge, but bought the game again. The DLC I had with the old one isn't accessible on the new one, so I guess it's tied to the cartridge too.

I even used my action replay powersaves hoping by some miracle that would get the DLC on there. Sadly that isnt the case. I'm just gonna have to hope the homebrew community can advance to a degree where this will be possible one day, I'll wait for now.

I emailed the devs and to no surprise they email me back saying they have no plans to release the DLC now or in the future. I guess all I have is the homebrew community to count on for this (if its even possible.)

The costumes are stored as extdata on the 3ds itself which were downloaded during the spotpass events. It is possible to add these to your system using savedatafiler if you can find the relative costume extdata files. (certain sites we aren't allowed to give the details of will have them) You'll know you have the right one if you open it up, go to the costume directory and there's a bunch of .bacs and .bcdml files with the characters names.

The only problem is that while this will give you the costumes, it won't give you the spotpass-exclusive figurines (which you can't get in-game normally or through playcoins). You'll probably need to find someone's save game which has those unlocked, unless there's a way to use Spider/AR codes to get access to them, like it was possible to use for certain exclusive Kid Icarus in-game figures.

Can I use tubehax to install this data on my 3DS?
