Brazilian gbatempers, i need your help

i wanted to watch brazilian tv on my pc, i don't live in brazil..
there are several websites that use flash based players, but they suck.. first, the websites are filled with tons of ads, and the image is always going down or the website stops working..

so could you tell me the best way to watch tv on pc?
i wanted channels like "globo" or record tv..
i tried some streams but they are outdated or dont work...

i never stop using it, but some websites either block it, partially blocks the ads (can't see ads but can see the X to close them or a empty box for example)


it is just not the ads, i could live with the ads, the thing is, none of the websites i have is reliable, the streams always going down all the time, quality is super bad, sometimes dont work, sometimes the website is down.. its a pain...

i'd like a method to watch using a video player like vlc or other way than a browser... its the best thing...
specially because i wanted to use an old laptop as a media box or soemthing

yeah, but the problem is to find the streams\links
i tried a tutorial but seems old, lots of dead links, others with tons of dead streams..
