Hacking A few questions dealing with pokemon injection/downgrading

Just coming back to the 3ds scene for the first time since about Feb, my first question is about QR code pokemon injection. My sysnand is 9.2 and it was working perfectly fine back in feb, but now every time i try to QR inject pokemon it gives me a bad egg (or two), (i have tried multiple different pokemon that i know should work). The only thing i have done to my 3ds since feb is update my rxtools emunand to 9.9. Any idea what would cause this?

My second question is if i downgrade my firmware to 4.5 will I be able to use savedatafiler to extract my 7+ encrypted pokemon savegame from my pokemon AS cartridge and change it to run on the lower save game encryption? Also if i am on 4.5, will i be able to access my pokemon bank with rxtools 9.9 emunand, as well as play pokemon online with the emunand?

My third question deals a little with the first one, if i downgrade to 4.5 is it possible to update the browser or do something else in order to access pokemon injection whether through the qr codes, or pc/box extraction, or through other means?

The main reason i upgraded to 9.2 in the beginning of the year was to access the pokemon injection, but if it is possible to do it on 4.5 somehow (or if it isn't working on 9.2 anymore) i'm not sure if there are any other benefits to having my 3ds on 9.2 vs. 4.5 anymore with what rxtools is able to do now?

For the first one, no clue why it isn't working.

For the second, you won't even be able to play the games, let alone sdf it. And maybe emunand.

For the third, downgrading wouldn't work because that the games won't launch.

After downgrading I would be able to run pokemon in emunand, it would just say the save data is corrupted. Would it not be possible to manipulate the save data for the game on 4.5 with savedatafiler even if I can't run it on sysnand, or does savedatafiler only work with games that will run on the nand you are using savedatafiler with?

I saw that you can extract the save files to manipulate with pkhex, and then reinject them using savedatafiler, so if I can access the save at all on 4.5 with savedatafiler I could use that method to obtain pokemon.

Would this be possible? Mess around with the save file on 4.5, and still run the game on 9.9 emunand?

Anything that includes a downgrade I think it would be helpless. The games require +6.x encryption and the sysnand in 4.x wouldn't know what to do with it.

The biggest issue is the injection not working for you. I can do it just fine in 9.4. Since you have been a few months out, are you sure you're just not rusty? Check everything from scratch and follow the guides on the Pokémon Project forums.

You're getting bad eggs because you're injecting .pkx files instead of .ekx files.

Just use PKHeX's QR generator. If you want to edit all aspects of your save, use SaveDataFiler or ram2sav.

I just tried it again using the old pkhex as well as the new pkhex using .ekx files and the same thing still happens. Instead of having just one bad egg like I used to see when I messed up earlier in the year the first two slots have bad eggs. I tried it with multiple pokemon that I have injected before as well as trying to create new pokemon and they always come out as two bad eggs.

I am thinking about reinjecting my emunand backup and seeing if that changes anything because literally all I did was update my emunand to 9.9, its really weird.

Have you seen anything like this before Kaphotics?
