Azure Striker Gunvolt coming to Steam next week

Seems like Inti Creates is releaseing its 3DS game on Steam. The catch with the Steam version is that its getting a bit buffed up. The Steam version is getting an exclusive Speedrun Mode, Steam Trading Cards, Russian translation and Japanese voices with English subs option (For that Otaku yourself that's inside). For the next 6 months after its release, the game is gonna be monthly updated with new modes, Online ranking boars etc, seems like the Steam users are getting a treat there. And if you purchase the game from August 28th till September 28th, you're gonna get a free download of Mighty Gunvolt. The price of the game will be 15$ and the release date of the game is August 28th.

Heh 3DS sure seems to get a lot of lower end and even cut releases before a game makes it to steam.
Too bad we can't get both in one shot somehow.
Not gonna buy the same game twice at full price but eh, I'm sure it'll have plenty of sales.

Agreed, I'd love to be able to buy a game that is playable on all supported systems instead of just one or two systems. It might eventually happen with some publishers, but even that will probably be far off.

For some of us Europeans it might be the first time to actually purchase the game, though. For me it is, since I rolled with the US version on my Gateway and simply forgot about it when it came out over here in April (yes, THIS year). Shame on me, though.

at least it came there with a LOT OF LANGUAGES that they REFUSED to add to "US" Release ¬¬ we , a group of latin fans offered then FREE translation to portuguese and spanish and we got ignored :B the bigger american fanbase was from latin america , they don't only ignored us on the first launch [" It was never planned to be launched outsite NA" ], and when it finally comes, they didn't made simething special, even the promotion of mighty gunvolt haven't come, just with an " special price" :B *still can't forgive then >:C*
Also I saw some Portuguese[from Portugal, not the language itself] reviews and they said that the game are in brazilian portuguese [now, the language lol] *the great facepalm....*
I could not see it by myself with GW because the setting of portuguese on US consoles and EUR consoles are like different languages... funny that this won't happen with english, spanish and french =3=

The 3DS is becoming a soak test video game machine to see if an idea sticks or does well. I'm looking AT YOU RESIDENT EVIL REVELATIONS. Once they idea sells they completely abandon the original like a wet dish rag and focus on the platform that they REALLY wanted from the start. Consoles and PC. No reason why 3DS version couldent get voices. They only game that I see getting equal handheld to console support is SSB4

Mighty Gunvolt is kinda easy with the angel girl, but not quite with the other two guys. Plus I think it's the best retro-style game I've seen lately, at least on the 3DS. It looks, sounds and plays liike an authentic NES game.
I hate the other shitty games with pixelated graphics, chiptune music and small sprites that people call retro (like Shovel Knight).

well was very easy for me even with mighty and GV ... the most challenge I had was the boses but not this much.
This really looked a NES game, but the difficult x3x
idk, now retro is a style, but they are using it more for music and graphic than the gameplay ... the best "retro" i've played was rockman 10... the facilities of save , online interaction actually are a good thing to be considered XD

This seems to be way too common a theme these days; start on one system, move to another, shit on starting system. It's like, "Thanks for helping me get my foot out the door, now let me just take a long fart on my way out before locking the door behind me."

Its never a bad idea to release a game on multiple platforms. More players=more joy=more money.

I am not against making it multi-plat, no what I was talking about, is most games nowadays once they go multi-plat, they start to neglect the original system they started on. Basically just ignoring or even flat out dumping on their starting system.

this is not the case, if wasnt 3DS and the inafune fans, this game could not even come to west. but int is cheap with the fans, not eve adding the eur spanish and portuguese opitions to US version, and now come with a big release for computer with everything it could have even on the strat like the game flowing like the japanese and stuff, ok this is nice to do but and the one that made this sheet come out? why don't update all the 3DS version to be exatly like the PC version? add the same stuff, having the same content .... now looks that the "ambrassador" is a cheap version of steam one :B
