I was not expecting anything out of this. I just stumbled across it and wanted to see what would happen in the name of science (:

Just hold down power button and turn it back on, should be fine. just don't launch the psx emulator anymore its just a quick port of psx emulator. It doesn't work yet

I know how to get out of a softbrick ;p
I was just letting other people know what happens.

This is just a quick and dirty port of a psx emulator. I dont think there will be any new updates
Not sure what guy told you this. Every line of this emulator was written from scratch (or, at least, everything in the "master" branch is).
N3ds 9.9.0-26u ironhax
Black screen softbrick :(
It needs a BIOS located at sdmc:/3ds/CTRX/psx_bios.bin. I've attached mine (just draws a white square because it's used for testing functions). but theres nothing stopping you from using a BIOS from another source. It won't load games yet, however.

Like the PS1 bios from "insert emulator name here"??

Edit:

What one out of these do you think will work?
Ps One Bios
PSX Bios 41s
PS1 Bio SCHP 1001

You do realize that the creator of that homebrew has just talked to you, right? So he's the best person to say what can or can't be done with it. lol
