Hacking I have a 9.0 N3DS , what can I do with it?

personal hello , okay, I 'm from Brazil , I have some doubts that I would like to take with you , I have at hand a N3DS XL, he is in version 9.0.0.20 , I saw here several ways to install an cfw and emunand but I do not know where to start,
I have here with me for a Sky3ds , and through it can have access to Ninjahax and tb the Zelda OoT which has an exploit for the Gateway

My doubts

I want to install an CFW supporting emunand is possible ?

Knew the Rxtools , will support N3DS , should I wait ?

I would like to know where to start because it will be my first CFW on my 3DS

N3DS does not have access to browser based exploits.

To setup Reinand you can use your Sky3ds to emulate Cubic Ninja.

I'm in the same boat as the op. I had an Smash 3dsxl working perfect with pasta. I finally found a red n3ds on the bay and it had 9.0.0.20 and I'm clueless again. I have a Cubic Ninja cart, so do I just follow your tut all the same? Would it be easier to install pasta on the n3ds? (pasta abandoned?) the only reason I ask is I'm familiar with the pasta install. thanks for any info!!!

If you have Cubic Ninja, you can just follow the tut from start to finish to get you up and running with Reinand + Emunand + Mset (Profile launching, so you no longer need to use Cubic Ninja)

You can still use Pasta if you like, as far as i'm aware Pasta only supports Sysnand though. Which is riskier than using Emunand; if you 'brick' the emunand, you can just restore it with Emunandtool (If you have a backup) or create a new emunand. But if you brick the Sysnand, then you'll need a hardmod & a backup in order to get your 3DS running again.

I thought to buy Gateway to play NDS and 3DS in a same card, and all that stuff about firmware updates and new anti-piracy code. Is this the best thing?

After all three in hand:
- Launch NINHAX exploit
- Backup NAND by Gateway (should I backup it in my PC too?)
- Install a CFW with emuNAND above 9.5
- Backup "fresh" emuNAND
- If I'm looking to play online games, install legit CIA version (I don't have to concern about it on offline games, isn't?)
- Before install new CIA, backup the "lastest" emuNAND

Am I right?

afaik, n3ds only support emunand 9.5 and below.plz correct me if im wrong.

• New anti-piracy only matters on Sky3DS and Gateway when used as .3ds. .cia versions continue to work fine.
• You can use Gateway NAND backup without a Gateway card, and yes, keep it safe and in as many locations as possible.
• N3DS cannot run an EmuNAND above 9.5 at this time, and unless you want Amiibos there's no real reason to update EmuNAND to it, as it's NATIVE_FIRM (dealt with by CFW regardless) that keeps you from playing games.
• Legit CIA versions of games are only for cases where you don't have signature checks disabled, it has nothing to do with online access in the slightest.
• Backing up EmuNAND is something you can do if you want (requires EmuNAND tool) but backing up before each CIA installation is simply unnecessary.

New 3DS doesn't support 9.9 emunand... it supports only 9.5 and below for now.

I read that it doesnt matter if you are in 9.5, you can play almost everything. So what are the disadvantages?
