Hacking Gateway MultiRom Selector Still Broken? (9.9.0 EmuNAND)

So is it still broken or not? can't seems to see any recent news about this.
forget about playing ROMs I can't even install CIAs without a rom selector to select BBM/devmenu at the first place.

By the way, Can I setup emunand without GW red card? from what I read it seems possible, unless booting into Gateway Mode need the red card.

So it has been fixed with the recent launcher.dat versions?

It's only broken when a new emunand version comes out. The fix usually also comes right after. All you needed to have done is check their website.

But to answer your question, yes, it has been fixed long ago already.

To be honest, I did see their 3.04 changelog:

Today we present just a quick update for our users with 9.5 emunand. This fixes the multirom menu not showing up and various updates for properly supporting 9.5 emunand.

But after that, I only saw changes like: Improved emunand, support for 9.x, etc... without mentioning about multirom any further. and this is what confused me.
