ROM Hack Just got N3DS on 9.5 any benefits?

Any benefits to having it on 9.5? Just got it today and dont know what to do next, was looking into getting a sky3ds soon. Is it worth having 9.5 or should I just jump to 9.9 to at least get a few demos and so forth so im not gameless for at least a week.

I also have an early R4 that I used to use which I assume is non compatible with my new 3DS correct?

Update to 9.9 there is no benefit to 9.5

But even in a N3DS? I have read that you cant do some stuff because of a proper CFW? By the way, if you get an official update, you get stuck on that CFW

Yes even on a New 3DS also there isn't any benefit to being on the latest firmware yet. You can still play online use the eShop and play the latest games.

GW is the safe tool to downgrade mset/ whitelist for N3DS. Downgrade Mset using Cubic Ninja/PastaCFW/FBI is quite dangerous. Moreover, GW can run any CIA games that need 9.5+.

Yep, there is no benefit for any CFW on any 3DS with sysNAND firmware > 9.2 but Sky3DS.

You're so wrong. GW is the safe tool to downgrade mset/ whitelist for N3DS. Downgrade Mset using Cubic Ninja/PastaCFW/FBI is quite dangerous. Moreover, GW can run any CIA games that need 9.5+.

You do realise gateway is DRM dongle right? Also installing MSET using CFW firmware is no different then booting into gateway sysnand mode you're installing the same CIA's regardless and 9.5+ titles don't run on a New 3DS even if you use gateway anyways.

Did you forget about GW 3.4? As I said GW is the safe tool to downgrade mset. I don't feel safe when doing that with any CFW out there. It's better to have GW and Cubic Ninja. Why not?

There's no "safe tool" gateway is a very basic CFW thats is tied to a cart that does nothing but load .3DS files. Again even if you're using 3.4 on a new 3DS it does not make a difference you can't load 9.5+ titles on a New 3DS. Cubic Ninja is all you need to install any CFW that supports the New 3DS which at the moment is Reinand and rxTools and sort of Pasta CFW even though that's just a basic patched Sysnand like gateway.

But for now Tubehax, just like Ninjhax 2.0 and Ironhax, can't boot any CFW and that was the purpose.
