Hacking what can i do with an N3DS on FW < 9.2?

- can i install CFW like on o3DS?
- can emunand go to 9.9?
- if emunand can't go to 9.9, is there any way to spoof firmware and access the eshop?
- i'm more familiar using RXTools and FBI on o3DS, is there a similar one for n3DS?

Yes you can use CFW like rxTools/Pasta CFW/CakeFW/ReiNand
Emunand goes up to 9.5.0-23
You can use freemultipatcher.cia to get on the eShop
its the same either way though you should be using BigBlueMenu for CIA installations

0% chance of a ban UNLESS you start hacking in games online like Mario kart and Pokemon.

The keys were changed starting from 9.6+ on the New 3DS and there is no way to get them.

If I remember the PS3 had a very deep exploit pre 3.55 that allowed people to grab the keys from the console itself but the New 3DS does not actually have the keys on it. Also the keys for an Old 3ds and New 3DS are different.

It puts you into a signature patched Sysnand so yes you CAN install CIA's to sysnand using FBI/BigBlueMenu which is what I do since to me Emunand is semi useless since I have a hard mod.

BigBlueMenu (titlemanager) is a million times better also unless you mess with system titles like downgrading or modifying system titles LIKE agb_firm there is little to no chance of bricking but if you're not sure or are new just stick with Emunand.

Everything from Pasta has already been ported to rxtools. I would stay away until it is complete just use Pasta CFW and not mess with system files you won't brick any CIA that does not get installed into your actual Nand can be installed.

Pasta its simple to use Cake is being implemented into rxTools and Reinand is a little buggy.

8.1 has issues since you wont have a way to update to 9.2 avoid it all costs (this only applies to New 3DS's).
