Homebrew IS .CIA POSSIBLE THIS WAY ON 9.9?!! HELP ME!

The DNS server we use to connect to tubehax server instead of the youtube.com server gave me this idea. I know I'm a noob at these stuff so please tell me if this idea is crazy.

If we can redirect youtube with a DNS server, can't we redirect eShop to another server which has free games?

Perhaps we could create a access point using a software which would also allow us to create a DNS server which would redirect 3ds eshop to our server and we could select which .cia to show up on this server, then eShop could normally install it?

I'm merely suggesting a possible way. I just said that it might be a stupid idea because i AM a noob but I was wondering about this so I posted this idea?

This won't work as the exploit only allows userland access. You need kernel access to install cias and run unsigned software.

Even if you could install a cia with only userland access, you still wouldn't be able to run it. Every piece of software for the 3DS is signed with a private key that only Nintendo has access to. This signature must be intact to run a piece of software on the 3DS. Whenever you modify a piece of software, the signature is broken and the software will no longer run. This is where kernel access comes into play. With kernel access, the signature checks can be patched out, so the 3DS doesn't check the signatures before it tries to run the software; this is what allows you to install illegitimate cias. The 3DS doesn't check if they're signed and runs them without a problem.

If another kernel exploit is found, the DNS exploit could be used as an entrypoint, but I wouldn't count on another kernel exploit popping up anytime soon.

Even with a kernel exploit, you can't redirect or modify the eShop to distribute games for free.
