I own an o3ds and have done all I could have asked for with it and am now in the market for a new 3ds.
I live in the U.S. where Nintendo thinks a smaller unit would have confused me as a consumer, so I am now ordering from overseas. I will probably be ordering a PAL version, however, this raises some concerns:
1. I am aware that I can run a U.S. emunand on the console, however, I know that I can not run emunand past 9.5. Will I lose the ability to play online games as a result?
2. In regards to the region changed emunand, is there a way I can access eshop despite my emunand only being 9.5?
3. Aside from emunand, I am considering swapping the sysnand region to U.S. I know this will result in the loss of eshop access and system transfer. Would accessing eshop be possible if I were to run an emunand on top of this?
I had a lot more questions last night when I was reading, though I have forgotten most of them with sleep. I will edit this post to include more questions if I can remember them. I apologize if this is worded poorly, my thoughts are all jumbled at the minute.
