Hello, I'm here to warn people about these scammers. They are mentioned as an official retailer of Gateway on their main site and I also heard a couple of bad rumors about them on this website but I ignored them and ordered from them anyway.

I placed my Order on July 31st, my credit card was charged the next day Order # 6222 and I received an Email saying that my order was shipped the day after that August 1st. This website claimed they deliver in 2-4 days and that they're based in the US (not China), so after 5 days I was a little worried and checked my order status. I received no tracking number and on my account it didn't even mention that I had placed an order! So I Email them and apparently they "forgot" about my order.

10 days later my credit card is still charged, the packaged hasn't even SHIPPED and they don't seem to be in a hurry to ship my item or to return my money either. This is my second time trying to purchase the GW and both times failed. I'm about to call my bank to ask them for a charge back and cancel my credit card number.

These guys 3dsgamerworld.com are Scammers and I still see them advertising on this website so I will try to spread the word so other people don't have to go trough what I'm going right now. 80$ is not a small amount of money for me and I went trough a lot of trouble to find a 3DS that could use the GW, I will have to sell it now as well.

I once purchased a card from a site claiming to be UK based. They were, of course, China based.

I'm from Ireland and the card took around 2 weeks to arrive. Give it another week or two before you panic.

I wish that was the case, but I'm already Emailing them back and forth. They're obviously from China since they only replay during night hours and in broken English but after asking them about my order this is what they replied:

"Dear Customer
We are very sorry for our mistake.Your order still not be shipped,If you are agress,we will send your order today.

Sorry!"

This is after 10 days after they charged my card and after a fake shipping confirmation. If this is not shady I
don't know what Is. I used to think this company was reliable because I've seen them posting here but I guess
I was wrong.

Pasta cfw: Sysnand only
Reinand cfw: Sysnand & Emunand

If you're getting gateway, you already or should have CN / OOT.

If you have CN you can use either cfw. OOT Reinand only (With profile exploit installed) *Would also need a NDS flashcart*.

probably 90% of resellers only hold limited amounts of stock in UK/US "distribution centers" (think Chinese friend/relative who lives in the UK/US who can forward packages *sometimes*) but most of the parcels are just sent directly from china as they only hold like 5 carts at any one time, all the genuine US/UK resellers have been shut down as the cards are deemed illegal, so its too risky for resellers to hold large amounts of stock in the US/UK just incase they get their stocks seized....so no matter what sites claim its most of the time just sent from china, i would say give it another week or so before you panic

dont be silly, why would anyone update from 9.0 to 9.9 for ironhax which almost certainly will not develop into any sort of cfw for a very long time if ever

Yep, you're right. For instance, my o3DS is running 9.9.0-26U, so supposedly, Ironhax would work for a situation like this.

I read about Reinand and it apparently doesn't support New3DS, only original 3DS,
I think Pasta CFW worked but I had to use my Sysnand? that's way too risky and could brick my 3DS.
I borrowed CN for a few days but I guess it's useless now.

All these vendors are shady, I realized now, the only thing I can do is cut my loses and deal with
my bank. I made this thread so other people don't make my same mistake, at least now on 3DSgamerworld

Edit: If you borrow a NDS flashcart as well, you can install the Reinand ROP for Profile launching so you don't need CN anymore.

Damn are you sure about this?? I would let you have my first born if this thing works because I've had my
3DS in the box for 2 months now trying to get a damned GW card. Do you have a link to a tutorial I can follow?
I'm a complete noob about hacking the 3DS and I'm afraid to brick it, do you have Skype?

Maybe sure you back up your NAND for your 3DS first before anything. You can flash it back if you happen to be in the event of a brick.

i think it works via MSET now so you could just downgrade MSET while you have access to it, also check the thread on how to get the profile expoit to "stick" to make it as resilient as possible to getting wiped.....if it does get wiped at any point though you can use any 3DS compatible NDS flashcard to re-install

Didn't Nintendo eliminate the files needed to Downgrade? I also heard that the new 3DS can't be downgraded,
seems I'm screwed no matter what..

you can get the required MSET files elsewhere in cia format, and its only MSET that gets downgraded, not the whole FW
