Hacking Stay on 9.4 or upgrade to 9.9?

Currently I have ninjhax and 9.4 on my N3DS. I'm wondering if I should upgrade to 9.9 for ironhax and see if anything more will come from ironhax once the source code is released. I see that I lose the firmlaunch-hax but there currently is nothing to make use of that exploit as it is on 9.4.

I agree but if ironhax (once the source code is released) contains code that could lead to an exploit I'm out as well. I understand that feature-wise ninjhax 2.0 is the same as ironhax but that does not mean both use the same thing under the hood since one is installed from the store. Mind you if someone can confirm that it's impossible to exploit from within a CIA app then I guess that would rule it out.

@zbw2000 that does not answer the question. It has NOTHING to do with the features it has at launch. It has to do with what COULD be done in the future once the source code is released. This is an exploit on a game using a CIA not a cartridge, I'm not sure if a CIA might have more potential for exploit beyond ironhax's purpose. Again, this has NOTHING to do with the features he says it will have when he releases it, it has to do with what further development with the exploit could yield if made publicly available.

Why don't you ask a crystal ball instead? It'll be just as useful and we won't have to put up with a petulant attitude. If it could do anything significantly more Smea would be the first to at least hint at it. He hasn't so far. So it's not likely. Possible, sure, but there's absolutely no way of knowing until it's released and others poke around. In short, this is entirely pointless and stupid speculation that isn't worth speculating in the first place. Wait until the end of the week.

Just research what you can do on 9.4, there's plenty of existing threads and decide for yourself if you want Ninjhax 2.0 over it...

If this Ironhax had more capabilites than Ninjhax 2.0, don't you think Smea would have just come out and said it? He's said that this is an alternative to CN / OOT (Which will come out soon).

1. Ironhax isn't released yet. You'll need to download Ironfall from the eshop (This is the free way of using Ninjhax 2.0) - Ninjhax 2.0 uses Cubic Ninja / will use OOT to access the Homebrew Menu. Both are the same thing from what Smea has said, and they're used to enable Homebrew on the 3DS.

Smea confirmed both 1.0 and 1.1 work with his Ironhax. So if you want to play the game on 1.1 (Smea also confirmed Ironhax won't interfere with playing the game) then you can.
