Gaming Xbox one BC not working for Banjo Kazooie

One of the first games they announced for the BC.. Is not not working anymore because of the bundle coming out.

.....It is a preview build you're on when all said and done.. the next build will apparently fix this (also doesn't work on other Rare Replay - non disc games - including Perfect Dark)

True, but the excuse is still something to do with the current preview build (apparently!) I've just pre-ordered Rare Replay, half wondering if doing this'd fix it (other half because I really want RR anyway!), and now the message is replaced on my Banjo/Viva Pinata/Perfect Dark with the 'Too early' message you usually get with pre-downloading.... bastards!

Haha yes, but remember it's only affecting XO preview build members who have access to these 360 games via the beta BC rollout: if these people are buying Rare Replay then the games will play, but if they're not it'll be interesting! Tigran? You buying RR??
(in a completely unrelated note I've just found out I'm still using the US English keyboard layout since upgrading to Win10, and can't find the 'at' symbol for fukk... *downloads UK English keyboard layout and probably edits post in a few minutes* )

Rare Replay's Banjo Kazooie, Perfect Dark etc are confirmed to be the BC versions, so if BC doesn't work, the Rare Replay versions won't work.

The game is a bunch of emulators made specifically for the Xbox One, one of which is the same emulator the OP states isn't working.

Edit: It would seem since the issue is apparently tied exclusively to games included in Rare Replay, that they are blocked from running to stop people who preordered RR from playing early since they are the same versions.

Yup - I played through to the 3rd level on Banjo on my XO a month or so ago, same with Perfect Dark and both Viva Pinatas - they USED to run, but stopped working as soon as you could pre-order Rare Replay, and gave the 'do you own this game?....' bollocks. Not sure about the deliberately blocked bit though...only the Preview Program members who have actually purchased any of the games in question on their 360 (via disc or Arcade/Live) could've played them in the first place, so I reckon it's an error, and I read MS 'are aware of the problem', so whether it gets fixed on tuesday when the game launches, or not, remains to be seen...
I'm a preview member but have preordered the digital version of Rare Replay, so am 99.9% sure I'll be able to play Banjo again on tuesday (shit'll hit the fan if I can't! ), but for those who haven't bought the collection, who knows...

Actually I've got the disc version of the original Viva Pinata knocking about, and fibbed above when I said I've tried it (I've tried the digital version of Trouble in Paradise and that used to run, but now gives the same error) - I'll try to dig the disc out from wherever it may be and report back... be interesting to see if that works... ....Fukkin hell, just realised I've got Nuts N Bolts too!! Probably burned that particular disc at the stake for being a pile of shit though...
