1.1 does not do anything to the exploit. Get it if you don't want to be pestered by "UPDATE AVAILABLE" and/or want to play it online.

From what Smea has said I believe this will still require Cubic Ninja or OoT to install. This is solely for the purpose of launching homebrew without having Cubic Ninja everytime. Though at this point it's unclear.
