Decided to try out a couple of Canadian series and so far I like these:

- Orphan Black
- Trailer Park Boys
- Corner Gas
- Heartland
- Cracked

Love the first two and beginning to watch more of the rest. Corner Gas is pretty all right.

Thanks, 17!

Always nice to have more suggestion of Canadian shows.

Btw, been trying to get into watching "Humans" but the English accent really irks me it's due to being used to American and Canadian accents so coming back to an English accent throws me off the rails. Like, people here in London (UK) don't usually use that kind of English accent anyway.

+1 for Corner Gas. My friend's Uncle is Lorne Cardinal, who plays Davis!

Also, there's a Corner Gas movie as well if you can find it online anywhere.

@WiiCube_2013, if you like Sci Fi, you have to check out the series, Dark Matter. It begins with six people who wake up from memory loss on board a spaceship. I'm really enjoying it so far, and currently, this Canadian series is only five episodes in.
I am watching it, mainly as I have bugger all else to do on Saturday mornings, but I am not seeing a great future for it. Likewise it is better than sci fi have managed for years at this point but I have to wonder if a lot of it is it being a classic piece of low budget sci fi.

Anyway owing to tax breaks and receptive industry there are an awful lot of shows that are filmed in or otherwise have Canada responsible for a massive chunk of their output. Ignoring that then I will have to say

Regenesis. A friend picked up the first two series I think it was in a cheapy £5 DVD in the supermarket type affair. Actually very enjoyable if you like science in your fiction. Granted I say that not being much in the way of a biologist so it could have some serious howlers.

Flashpoint. For a police procedural type show this is as solid as it comes. It is no The Wire, not even The Shield but it is still top notch. Also if you read a summary and it says it is about the Canadian equivalent of a SWAT team then do know it is not a kick em up.

Flashpoint is really entertaining, set in my home city too.

And +Corner Gas is pretty funny as well.
+Murdoch Mysteries is another underrated show.
