Hacking What's the risk of ban if Sky3SD only has offline games?

What's the risk of ban if your updated 3DS goes online with legit games and only play offline games on Sky3DS? Do they only ban when they detect the same games with the same header go online so far?

Probably none, as long as you keep the wifi switch turned off when you play Sky3DS games.

so i'm guessing the 3DS doesn't store more than the game name and time you played? unlike the ps3 and xbox that actually does CRC checks on their games?

Nintendo teamed up with skynet and sky3ds is just a gateway for them to start the uprize. Common the name should have been a dead give away

i knew it! anyways, jokes aside, has anyone reported of a ban just by playing offline games? not sure if there's a ban thread somewhere.

IMOP your 100% fine offline and 99% safe online with private header

thanks a bunch! just read the thread and they're all using public headers. hopefully there won't be any case of ban ever with a private header!

i have a private header. Ronhero posted a link where only public header users got banned. did you by any chance hear someone with a private header that got banned?

I've been playing with public and private headers on my New 3DS (JPN) with the WiFi turned off. When I want to use WiFi to check eShop or whatever, I switch to a private header game on my Sky3DS or eject it. I've had my Sky3DS for over 3 months and haven't gotten banned this way. I'm making the transition to make all my games on my Sky private using my own headers. I think it's okay using the Sky 3DS as long as the WiFi switch is off.


Edit: Most of my games that use a private header use the exact same header from one game. I only have like one or two public header games on my Sky3DS.
