good day fellow wii gamers and modders!

i'm in the process of getting NeoGeoCD going on my vwii and i've read that i need ios202 installed in order to be able to run the roms off usb. i have every other emulator i want running roms fine off usb with retroarch.

i found a how to here pointing to Hermes' cIOSs. there i'm told to get
IOS > IOS 37 > v3869
IOS > IOS 38 > v3867
IOS > IOS 57 > v5661
IOS > IOS 60 > v6174
with NUS downloader. NUS downloader fails to download any file. i've checked my network and it's fine.

now i found
cIOS202[60]-hermesrodries-v6.wad
cIOS222[38]-hermes-v5.1.wad
cIOS223[57]-hermes-v5.1.wad
cIOS224[37]-hermes-v5.1.wad
and was wondering whether i can just install these and get the same results as using the cIOS222/223 installer. i also read in the Hermes' how to that you have to be sure that Pack wad is NOT selected. so i'm feeling that the answer is going to be no but i thought i'd ask and look stupid as opposed to just do it and be stupid..

Hermes cios is only for wii not vwii dont install it you might brick or it will just not work.

Right no ios 202,222,223,224 on vwii, I need ios 202 for vwii too but its not going to happen.

You don't need Hermes... The d2x cIOS are basically equivalent.
