Hacking Question about Zelda Ocarina Japanese

Hello, i would like to do the exploit on my japanese new 3ds and i don't know if i can do it with a power saves pro. Do this power saves, has region lock? How do i do it?

I mean, to inject the save exploit via the powersaves, the thing that i don't actually now is if the powersaves is regionfree or if i can use it as a dongle like the r4i save dongle.

Amazing! didn't know that something like that existed, can i use a dsi? or i simply need a ds lite?

I don't think it will work on DSi, I think it's like the 3DS where if you swap cartridges it won't recognize the new cartridge.

Oh, i see. Well at least it is more cheaper then getting a save dongle. I'll try to find out a ds today at my town

I don't know for sure though, so you should still try it with the DSi.
A R4i SaveDongle can be gotten as cheap as $16, maybe cheaper. Can you get a DS Lite cheaper than that?
Don't you know anyone with a DS or a hacked 3DS?

Yes, what i mean is that it is more accessible for me to get a borrowed ds, instead of buying a save dongle online and waiting a month.
About using a dsi, it seems that the official developer of the app says that we can't use a ds i https://code.google.com/p/savegame-manager/

People with hacked 3ds are kinda rare where i live. So i think getting a ds its going to be more easy
