It came today and already tried it out; Loved the first level for how much of a soft breeze it was and all.

The artwork of the disc is great and unlike Splatoon, very detailed!

Now to the game's screenshots:

I've played the first level with my Wii U Pro Controller (finally a new Wii U game that uses it!) and felt none other than a proper traditional platforming game. Sweet.

whats the difficulty like yoshies island ...or kirby yarn? can you die in it? :P
Doesn't seem like it, it just takes Yoshi back to the beginning (where I tried to die by bumping to the enemies), also, it's not difficult but to acquire the collectibles you'll play a stage at least twice.

This game should come with FW5.3.2 or less for sure. I doubt very much it will be on the latest FW5.4.0, it only got released a matter of a few days ago this game will of been packed up and sorted for the shops etc.. way before the update came, anyone worrying I wouldn't bother.

... Almost every game I've bought and played on the Wii U allows you to use the Wii U Pro controller, I'm having trouble thinking of a recent Wii U game where you couldn't use the Wii U Pro controller.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
Mario Party 10
Mario Vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars
(GamePad-only game)
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
Splatoon
(only usable on offline multiplayer)

WUPC is mostly ignored by Nintendo.

you mention all the games I don't have or have no interest in, aside from Splatoon, but Splatoon does indeed allow for the Pro Controller. Yeah, online doesn't, but the game itself does.

Otherwise, I look at my collection of Wii U games, and nearly all of them allow use of the Wii U Pro Controller:

Super Mario 3D World
Super Smash Bros
Hyrule Warriors
Wind Waker HD
Bayonetta 1 and 2
Wonderful 101
Mario Kart 8
Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze
Splatoon

I could go on and on but I think you get the point, just cuz some games have exclusive modes that don't make use of the pro controller, while other parts do, obviously doesn't mean the game doesn't support the Pro Controller. Nintendo supports the controller, pretty regularly at that, there are just some examples where they can't as they feel the gameplay would be hindered, and I get that. Especially for a game like Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, a sequel to the DS game where no one complained that you needed the stylus to move Kirby, in fact that DS title was praised for that gameplay. (also by the way, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse does allow for the Wii U Pro controller in multiplayer mode)

Not really. It's limited only to the offline multiplayer and nothing else.

Nintendo loves their Wiimote so much yet they didn't make it compatible with Splatoon.

Well I suppose if you don't play local multiplayer than yeah, for you, you can't use the Wii U pro controller in Splatoon. However, me and my friends do play local multiplayer in addition to online, so we make use of two of my pro controllers frequently with Splatoon. So for me, yeah the game does make use of the Pro Controller. As I said, its not throughout the whole game, but it does allow for the controller to be used.
