No. As far as I know the only way to undo it is to restore a NAND backup that didn't have the updates downloaded.

What if I re-installed a 9.2 update even though my 3ds is at 9.2 already?

Yeah it looks like the eShop spoof method currently being used stops working if the 3DS has an update downloaded. I had this issue for a bit on my sysnand and couldn't get around that error. I even tried visiting Safe mode since I heard this gets rid of the notification. But it seems the update files are still there because eShop still refuses to connect. (same error I think)

It's not the same error as the update prompt eShop usually gives you. The spoof gets past that, but once it logs into my NNID, that secondary error comes up.

I eventually got around the issue as I had found a NAND backup that didn't have any update downloaded.

So that means besides using a hardmod the only other choice would be resetting your console?

Tried the region lock cia with pasta cFW emunand 9.8 (rxPasta) and no luck.
When i press A, nothing happens Still, the B button works fine, Home Button too.
Trying to boot a european cart.

My 3DS was requesting an update yesterday. It was already downloaded, so I thought there would be some problems using this method. Anyway, I'm still trying to understand how to do these emunand things so I can install CIA without worries, so I reset my emunand through the gateway browser thing, but for some reason it reset everything (but I still have my save for faceriders and sudoku, not sure about anything else yet, that is even after resetting that title.db thing), and I think that's why it stopped asking for the update install. Sadly I couldn't get the emunand to work, but now I could use this exploit and activated flipnote . So maybe if you reset your emunand (or maybe sysnand?) it will stop asking for this.

I didn't think it was possible, so I gave my club nintendo code for that mario and donkey kong game to a friend, but I'm really happy I'm not going to miss some great eshop deals anymore! Thank you OP, you're the best ;D!

ok...i have O3dsXl 9.8 firmware (yeah back there silly me didn't knew anything about cfw and stuff lol) and bought a new3ds 9.0...So with this spoofer is it possible,to make a data transfer from old9.8 to the new9.0+spoofer?

I tried to use it tonight, but I'm getting a "System Update is Available" message and it will no longer let me in.

No, this application is not working on with firmspoof or gateway, but you can use my version, I modified it to work with newer firmwares in emunand and firmlaunch, and added some features: free-multi-patcher

Been a while but it looks like this tool required a CFW. If she's below 9.2 you can use the free-muilti-patcher for her to get YouTube, or NTR.

multi-patcher? the only eshop spoof I knew was pasta (easy) and NTR (ehhhh)

multi-patcher is very good and a lot easier than anything else. But if she's below 9.2 why use tubehax at all?

cause I got the gateway. She gets RXTools and she's okay with this
