Hey guys :D

I need fonts to create good looking thumbnails and graphics for youtube videos.

A good variety of fonts for Windows 8.1 would be great :)

Link me a safe place to download them?

As a (web) designer I use Google fonts, they got a lot of free and licence free fonts:https://www.google.com/fonts
Adobe fonts,Font folio, is also great. Adobe stuff isn't mostly free :http://www.adobe.com/products/type/fonts-by-adobe.html

I never used this site but my collegues seems happy with this one. Warning not all font are license free there: http://www.1001freefonts.com
Font Squirrel seems to be good also, never tried.
Thanks man.
got a bunch of free ones :)

I do like Font Squirrel. It is usually my go to place for finding fonts.

What I will say is if you plan to monetise these youtube videos then be aware of the licenses of the given font. Several will disallow commercial use, or want you to register if you do use it. Most of the time in the UK you will not get pinged by the font types but it is not unheard of. If you can dodge the issue in the first place then that is even better.

Equally fancy fonts can work quite well and I do suggest having a few at your disposal but there is an awful lot you can do with basic outlines, drop shadows, possibly some textures (I am not a great fan of textured text), text as a layer mask and more besides.

I usually use dafont.

Thanks for the replies :)

I have made sure to download COMPLETELY free fonts that can be used in any way possible.
