Yeah replacement 360's are so cheap these days, no big deal if you trash your's lol. As for fatal's comment about not being banned, if you RGH and you even connect to Xbox Live its an instant permaban. Just don't connect to live and you'll be fine. Play on some other free services like xlink kai or xbconnect etc if you care about online play at all...
Xkey is fairly safe to play on Xbox live with...
No it's not an instant ban. Mine is RGH chipped. It's called a stealth server, learn it. Three people are now using my stealth server and have not been banned either.
If you go online without the use of a stealth server then sure, you will be banned as soon as you connect. But with stealth server you get a while before you are found.
Best way to remain un banned is to keep your modded console off of public lobbies and only invite people that won't report you to private lobby. Like on GTA V use of invite only lobby works great. Invite your second console to that lobby and those you trust not to turn you in and you won't have any problems. Also set up your own xbla stealth server because the ones they don't know about are harder to find. (that and really who wants to pay that much money to get on a server to mod?)
A very large group of people (myself included) hacked an existing xbla stealth server and stole all the files to make your own. we posted the download links in numerous websites. Use your modded console to mod and do it only in private places and you'll be just fine. Use your unmodded console to play online public.
That's how I have managed to stay online so long. If you use a stealth server and get reported for cheating by other users you will get banned for sure that is why you keep your modded console just for modding and not out in the open. I am still rocking my orginal Key Vault and haven't had any problems so far.
If you need an edge to beat other online gamers then best advice would be for you to practice and get better at gaming. Because a modded console in public lobby will probably be banned in a matter of a few online sessions.
And for the guy with bad soldering skills: watch a few youtube videos on soldering chips. And practice on some spare wire and an old usb memory card. Within a few hours you'll have decent soldering skills. Tips: go slow, heat the item to be soldered not the solder itself, pre-solder wires before attaching to board, only use small amounts of solder, use a pick to remove excess solder, use flux on areas you don't want solder to stick, and try not to melt the plastic.
