I've searched through their resellers and the following site seemsto be the cheapest placeout there in terms of costs.

http://www.vartismedia.com/die-flashkarte-für-3ds-spiel/131-mt-card-fur-3ds-rom.html

Basically it's 50.2EUR and with shipping it acts like it's 55.3EUR or ~62USD for the cart. The gateway is always ~10-20$ more it sems from everyone and after the bricking fiasco I can never trust them with my money.

Why not just buy Cubic Ninja and use Pasta instead?
If you really must have a paid flashcard though, get a Gateway. They've proven themselves capable of providing consistent future support of their product, and have stood behind everything they've decided to announce so far. They've made a few more promises as well that I expect they'll keep yet.
Else, go open-source and use Pasta. MT-Card is dead, with no future updates announced at all. Buying a MT-Card is the equivalent of throwing away money.

You see the mt card had been out of update so long , you'd better consider Cubic Ninja or SKY3DS to use pastaCFW which you can enjoy many features that better than you got mt card.

Custom firmware is going to replace flash carts for the 3ds soon (has it already? How many people already switched to pasta?). Cubic Ninja has already started dropping in price again too.

Between $30-$35 on ebay. Or wait until someone posts without checking internet prices

Gamestop also sells them for $20.

Edit: completely forgot pasta supports mset so CN isn't needed unless you want to play 5.0+ games

And, assuming nop90's research on Webkit ROP comes through, it'll launch through the browser exploit as well in no time. Then you won't need anything at all. They'll be looking into MSET again after that it seems, and EmuNAND support will be doubled down on following that, from what they've said.

Please do not buy and MT-card. The product has long since been abandoned and the team who developed it (or should I say, cloned it!) has gone AWOL.

For a hardware based ROM loading solution, Gateway or Sky is your only choice. But keep in mind if you have a new3ds you will have to buy a game for Gateway. Sky works out of the box.

Pasta CFW + Cubic Ninja is a completely hardware-less "free" solution, but unless your downloading your CIAs prebuilt, it can be a hassel to convert .3DS to .CIA. Plus it takes a long time to install them and they take up alot of space on your SD card. You may have to upgrade your 3DS internal SD to higher capacity.

Pasta technically is free. You can load it via mset but then only 1.x to 4.5 games will work. We must wait for browser!

What do you mean they take up a lot of space on the sd card? It's the same size as a trimmed rom!

You can batch install them overnight too. Just make sure your 3ds is plugged in the power first.

A stock 4gb internal SD card with an emuNAND partition can't install a Pokemon rom @ 16 gigabits (2 gigabytes)

I prefer to copy roms to my Gateway SD at USB 3.0 speeds and pressing select in emunand. Pasta/Palantine users will see this as me "justifying my purchase of a DRM device" This is simpily not the case, as i fly regularly between Asia and Australia and i don't really have a "home base" so it's just more convenient for me :)

lol, why are you telling him to get a Sky3DS just to run Pasta when getting a GW would be cheaper AND provide him with more features (outside of GBA/DSiware support)?

Gateway has bricked many people's consoles, I refuse to trust them, as I don't want my console bricked, and pasta on o3ds requires you to use pbt at one of the steps which means I could get my console bricked damned near instantly, so I don't want to risk it.

And as far as that, I already have an EOL cart that I'm using, and I basically just need a damned cfw so I can install a cia, and then activate the dlc in the save file as it's like the layton games stuff is already in game just needs keys to unlock, and pasta requires cn. As far as new3ds I am looking atgetting one eventually and I already have oot3d which is one of teh games if I remember right.

The bricking code is still in the gateway so it could _always_ come back and bite me so I am _never_ giving them my money.

I have a regular 3ds so the pins are tiny and it also includes a risk of bricking/perma ruining my console.

Its like thinking you should never leave your house because a thunder may hit you.

Except unlike thunder hittingn me, I've seen dozens of people with th ebricking and then people who were responible are denying it. It's more lke a company that purposefully poisons it's own products and then blatantly denies it. Acts like it never happened, and then after admitting it they say they'll only help people who can prove without adoubt that it was their poison. And then later investigations show that there's poison around all of the production facitlities and everyone's saying. You can trust them, they said that they'd never poison us again we can trust them.

Yeah that makes perfect sense, it's a giant lie and they killed some people denied it until they couldn't deny it anymore and you can trust them now.

The people who got their 3ds bricked were using a fake gateway card
