It's was original by the USB Gecko Development hardware

USB Gecko installation DVD.
It's the first official model.

When I installed it, it didn't work right away.
After installation, I think I had to enable an option in the hardware manager.

My computer > pref > hardware > peripheral manager
Then select USB connectors > USB serial converter > settings > advanced : enable "Load VCP".

If it still doesn't work, I can search my old post on the forum as I asked here and got help from giantpune.

I zipped all the files that were on the disc.
There's nothing else.


There are multiple model and releases of the USB Gecko, so maybe someone with another version can provide its disc content, it could have different files on it.

Never heard of that tool and I never used it.

I only installed the driver to make it work.
Then I'm using WiiRd or GeckoReader to log output from the Wii.

I got one question yet do you know postloader 4 dios mios gamecube disc from usb harddrive is showing up
but when i try another loader of the menu like nintendont i can put it on from the check box but no games show's up

the game path should be the same for DM and nintendont, so I don't know why it's not working.

Yeah you need gecko OS for Wii if you wait a little longer I will post that too.

Edit: Here you go gecko OS for Wii and Gamecube but if your using the USB gecko or shuriken USB v2 on gamecube use the GC106d.dol instead

I know your looking for the install DVD that was giving to people after buying the real USB gecko or USB gecko SE but the programs I posted here is that install DVD just made into standalone programs and are updated

What? You can't use the gecko to load ISO's. It's a debugging tool/low level. You can rip games though but no playing ISO's through the USB gecko to the Wii/GC.

Oh I think you mean a WBFS USB stick in the wii. Well I can't confirm because I use a WODE jukebox and I've also used a WASP fusion. You have to boot the game with hooks so you can use the gecko to poke code.

Let me think....If your using USB loader GX on wii see if there is a setting for WiiRD debugging
