Hey Guys, I just finished the System Transfer from my old3DS to my new3DS. Problem: None of my Games are showed in the HOME-Menu. Does anyone knows why this happen? I transfered all stuff from my old SD Card to the new MicroSD Card and placed all my stuff into the new Nintendo3DS/id0/id1 / directory. Is it because I've to import my old title.db or why?

Redownload them from eShop?

I've ALOT of Games, some of them are backups which I made from my retail cartridge (PastaCFW)
and yea, don't want to install every single game again... Would be cool if I can just transfer the stuff from my old SD card to the new microSD Card on the n3ds

Backups do not transfer. Period.

I am not sure how system transfer works, but I would say you'd need to redownload your games anyhow. Shouldn't be much of a problem, just let them download in sleep mode.
The reason backups don't transfer is because they aren't (and they'll never be) linked to your NNID because you did not buy them from eShop.

Yea, that's why ASKED IF IT IS POSSIBLE to transfer my stuff on a another way. I know just downloading all the shit again is the standard-method, but I guess there could be a way to transfer the stuff without downloading all the shit again

Dump CIA's from old 3DS, install on new 3DS but that would be even more troublesome xD.

I have no clue for any other options, but someone else might :)

Should work fine. System Transfer -> Copy+Paste SD files. Nintendo's official transfer guide tells you to do just that. Did you initialize your N3DS SD before copy+pasting the files? If so, your id0 and id1 might be different, so you'd need to move the files accordingly.

Naturally non-legit games/saves and that sort of thing won't transfer.

Edit: Yes, you need to copy+paste EVERYTHING. Including the title.db (which will wipe any N3DS purchases that you made before you did this, so you'll have to redownload them.)

Okay, I'll try it. Yea, I initialized the N3DS before copy pasting. Hopefully it works x__X

Alternatively you can delete all the N3DS files on the SD, and then do a direct copy+paste of your O3DS files. Either way, simply recreating the structure yourself should work. It's all the same NAND after all.
