I get an error when loading Other M in CFG and GX; additionally, GX lacks the channel intro before pressing start.

What's strange is that this .wbfs file worked perfectly as an ISO when my USB drive was formatted as WBFS, and the converted .wbfs file works perfectly in Dolphin, so I think the game file itself is fine.

Any ideas? I'm using 4.1 FW, and some version of d2x as my CIOS.

Try starting over with your OFW, update to 4.3, then redo your hack and cIOS installs (version d2x-v10-beta52 is an excellent one). Make sure that USBLGX is up-to-date and try using Other M as an ISO, with your external hard drive using an NTFS filesystem. That (in a super basic explanation) is my setup and I've never had issue loading the game like you have (though wanting to play it is another matter :P ). Also double-check your ROM checksum, just in case it actually is a bad dump. Dolphin can check it and there are posts of proper MD5 checksums available.

It's not worth it for me to reformat my hdd and move all my games just for other m. Tried updating d2x, didn't work... I guess I'm not meant to play this game on the wii again

I tried looking for the option in Dolphin, not sure where it is. But I'm doing a SD-1 hash check in Wii Backup Manager

Right-click on the game in Dolphin and select Properties. Then just click on the Info tab and the MD5 Checksum option will be the last entry in the ISO details portion of the Info area (that first box). Once you have it, check it against a good dump's checksum for that game. Here are a couple I dug up, one for the main WBFS split, one for the secondary portion. I may be wrong on this, but I THINK that the primary checksum would be the same for an ISO format of the game? I'm probably not right on that one, so maybe just check your two WBFS files first.

2cba3f4ac69ab92f5c416609852a6251 - is what I got from it. I guess that would be the .wbfs part.

My version is definetely R3OE01, does this mean there's a problem with my game?

More than likely it's a bad ROM dump of some kind. I would suggest making a new dump or obtaining a ROM from a source different than your last one and running another MD5 checksum on it.
