Gaming How to run Metroid Other M with Japanese voices?

This seems to be an old case, hope someone can help:

I have a NTSC-U ISO of Other M that I´m playing through a loader. I wanted to play with the Japanese voices, but I can´t find a NTSC-J rip anywhere.

I heard that the USA and Japanese game files of the game are basically the same, with both having dual-audio and subtitles, but, for some reason, the USA version doesn´t have an option to change the audio. Is there some way to mod the ISO file to substitute the english files for japanese ones? Or maybe make it run as if it were the NTSC-J version so that I can change the audio through the menu?

My guess is an Ocarina cheat.

And if you haven't yet I recommend playing in English at some point for the epic cheesiness.

Now for some reason I wanna do a playthrough with all Japanese voices besides Anthony and visa versa

you can select japanese on the loader options... not sure if the game will still be in eglish or will be in japanese (some do change just the safety screens) but you may give it a try :/

And if you haven't yet I recommend playing in English at some point for the epic cheesiness.

Truth be said, I only saw the intro video in English XD

I saw so many comments in forums that people hated it because of the dub and that the original voices were so much better that I started looking for a way to play with japanese voices. But now you got me curious, maybe it´s so bad it´s good...

I tried only with USB GX, but I didn´t manage to change the voices, even booting it as NTSC-J region.

Apparently, there´s a way to do this by messing with some binaries, but I only saw someone saying this in an old post and he didn´t explained how he did it.

maybe if you do an undub, a user in emudesc makes undub, the last story, rune factory, etc. i guess is forbidden put a link of that site so i cannot or maybe downloading/getting a copy of NTSC-J and copy the text files of NTSC-U to NTSC-J the big trouble here is that language files could be differents cuz NTSC-U have 3 language and japanese just one so you have to replace the brstm files but im not sure if that could work, maybe you are brazilian maybe you can understand the spanish site at least a little and you could request the NTSC-U with japanese voices to the user alexbertoni

The biggest problem is that I can´t find a NTSC-J copy anywhere, otherwise I would be willing to try to make the undub myself.

But your recommendation is interesting, I will try to contact some undubbers from this forum, thanks for the help.

look for it in a torrent site or request it in Emudesc someone can get u that game, i think someone can understand you because you are brazilian and our language are seemed
