Not that i would buy this game anyways but I'm getting really sick and tired of these developers blaming whatever platform for there inability to program for said platform, if you didn't have the ability to do it you should have kept your mouth shut.

At least we have Need for Speed Most Wanted. This game is looking damn good for a WiiU game.
Damn fantastic port they made for the Wii U but many Wii U owners haven't given it a chance and decided to go with Mario Kart 8.

NFS MW on Wii U is incredibly detailed and breathtaking. The only that'd make it better (besides analogue triggers) would be if the game had been able to run at full 60fps.

Seriously, I don't think MK8 and NFSMW are the same type of game, they don't have the same target audience either.
You could have said "many Wii U owners haven't given it a chance and decided to go with Zelda Wind Waker HD." and it will make the same amount of sense to me.

E.g.: I just don't play NFS, the last one I liked was NFS3-HP. I don't play them in any console, last time I tried NFSUC on PC and I still didn't like it.

standard video framerate actually, most movies play at 23 FPS.

Fortunately you don't control cars on movies, because if the movement of a car on a movie depended on your reaction/reflexes based on 24FPS footage the poor car would be doomed to crash if it moved at high speeds.

I said nothing about it being a standard video game framerate or controlling the car I said it's a standard frame rate and that it is used in movies. Think before you reply you have a brain.

I think my reply not only is perfect, but of course takes into account it is standard framerate for movies (actually 24FPS is the standard for film as I correctly posted).
But well, for some reason I fail to understand you seem butthurt. I wasn't attacking you, just telling.

I felt Most Wanted would have been better if it had just stopped pretending it was a NFS game and had instead gone full Burnout and called it a day. As far as NFS games go, it's total shit, but as far as arcade-y racing games go, it's decent. Kind of like with Dead Space 3, if it just hadn't pretended it was from the same series it was attempting to be a part of, it would have been a good time. I'm definitely looking forward to the next legit NFS game currently in development, although that one isn't coming to Wii U.

As for this, I wouldn't be surprised if the port got dropped. We all knew this time would come at some point or another, when downporting would stop resulting in an acceptable end product on the Wii U. I'm sure the developer thought they could pull it off way back when they announced it, but theory and practice can often yield different results. Ultimately what you're seeing is what you all should have known was on the horizon: the effect of the power difference between the Wii U and the likes of the Xbox One and PS4. Really, you can be disappointed, but at least this developer has tried before seeing that maybe it just wasn't going to work. And of course, there is likely a way they could still pull it off, but where do you draw the line on concessions just to get a shitty version of the game running at a stable framerate?

Now, I will say this is a bit of a kick in the nads to anybody that funded the project way back whenever specifically because a Wii U version was promised. At the same time though, we all have to accept that this is part of the risk associated with crowdfunded projects. The lack of accountability can lead to complications that ultimately have little to no kickback on the developer.

^^^Just about to make a point but Nathan Drake has hit the nail on the head: Most Wanted is a good game, but there's a generation of difference between that and Project Cars, as such the two games can't be compared.
Truthfully as a Wii U owner I'm glad it's looking like it'll be cancelled, as I have Project Cars on my PS4 and my eldest has it on his PC - a Wii U version would be a laughing stock, and wouldn't do the console any favours whatsoever.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012) felt like a Burnout game at times (i.e, smashing vehicles and such) but not entirely so for a more authentic experience then I'd have to go with Burnout Paradise or the best of all, Burnout 3.

I think it doesn't matter since either way people will be disappointed.
Basically this, too. I mean, people will be upset if they cancel it, and they'll be upset if they get the worst version of the game as well. This developer can't really win at this point with the Wii U audience.

The Wii U owners are like this: "Why don't we get any 3rd party support?!" And then when there is they don't support so it doesn't matter.

It's a lost cause.
