Because E3 is during June 16-18 and it was revealed to be on June 16-18th. I just said the 16 because that one makes more sense.

I'll get to learning how to hack (Wii, Wii U) if I could find resources other than "Install the Homebrew Channel" or "How to use a USB Loader". It's hard finding in-depth resources. Unless anyone has a good link for a in-depth resource webpage?

I made this thread to be as clear as possible, with links pointing to full tutorials for each step. I know it's not easy, (I also followed these guides and I saw it wasn't easy) but it's doable. What are you struggling on exactly? Which resources are missing?

If this kernal exploit is released before the 1st June, within 10 days time to the masses then I would be very surprised, very very surprised and I stress that to the absolute max! but tbh I don't hold much hope in that happening and I'm just being honest about it.
I mean extremely in-depth. Things like devkitPPC, IOS, NAND, and so on.

Indeed, I said nothing about devkitPPC because I didn't know it existed (it's for making mods & homebrews for wii/wiiu, right?). And I don't know what to add about IOS and NAND, except that the former is a part of the (v)wii OS that can be patched and emulated to allow hacks and piracy, and that the latter represents the internal memory of the (v)wii and can be dumped, modified and restored. I don't know the link between ios and nand but I suppose Nand contains IOSes into many "slots" (at least 236). I may be wrong... If you have more specific questions, feel free to ask here or on other topics, there are nice people that will answer better than me. If you find important informations, I can add them into this thread.
End of school veries a lot between countries. Here in France, we generally go to school until mid/end june. Thanks god I don't stydy anymore.

For the PS: Well you made this awesome guide. I wouldn't have known that the exploit would have been made in June without it. So that's why I added you.
I have a folder with saved webpages on various things like NAND (I just found a page), devkitPPC, GX, IOS, Boot0, etc. I do need more pages to start studying though.

Trust NWPlayer, he's the guy who actually has constant contact with/is a developer
