Hacking Animal Crossing NL and CFW/GW Question

I lost my GW ACNL save and want to reimport from retail cart. Last time I did that, I had NTR CFW installed, but now have Ninjhax and Pasta CFW installed. Can I still export save from retail and import to GW again. How if yes? Thoughts/help appreciated

use savedatafiler and find your games id CTR-???? delete its secure value (back it up) and export then import your older save.

(this may be false information I used the save data transfer tool from the eShop to put my pokemon saves from cart to the CIA's I had installed to sysnand then backed them up using savedatafiler.)

Animal crossing is a card2 4.5 game, so just backup your game, rename the rom to .3dz, put it in your gateway sd card and it should directly work.

Is the save inside the rom itself, like the Pkmn games?

Yes, but it won't work with pokemon because the save uses the 6.X key.
