Hello all, I'm here to share with you 2 homebrews that i've developed today.

Ygw Eshop Spoofer (Allows you to enter eshop being on SYSNand<9.7 on both O3DS and N3DS 9.0~9.2)

Instructions:

Boot into PastaCFW, install the CIA with FBI or your preferred CIA installer, run it and press A, then just use eshop normally, it will not prompt for an update.

Download
Github Repo

Ygw Free Region Title Loader (Allows you to play games from allregions on both N3DS and O3DS, must work in any firmware compatible with PastaCFW)

Instructions:

Boot into PastaCFW, install the CIA with FBI or your preferred CIA installer, put the game into the console, run ygw free region title and press A, the console will reboot directly into the game.

Download
Github Repo

P.S.1. YGW stands for "Y a Gateway!?"
P.S.2. I have plans on injecting this 2 capabilities directly inside pastacfw and make them automatic, maybe capito27 or AlbertoSONIC can work with me for doing it.

Enjoy. Feel free to send pull requests.

Long live for the open source community.

Thanks to:
I'll list the thanks tomorrow as there are so many people and i have to sleep now.

And f*** those who keeps their work just for themselves and use it just for showing off and give false hope to others... You know who I'm talking 'bout...

cool :) and it would even be better if it was only one application instead of two separate ones! something that comes with a menu that let's you choose what to patch!! keep up!

nice release and cool that it can be made into a cia, since people have been asking for stuff like this etc etc (hacks/patches as a cia) - but, it would be neater added to pasta cfw itself :)

eShop patch works like a charm, N3DSLL on 9.2. Install, boot, run, and I'm a happy kid.

Region free works similar to RegionFour, just have the game cart in and it's flawless.

This actually makes Pasta a more viable alternative to NTR, since it a.) doesn't need to overwrite the Ninjhax install and b.) is significantly more stable (I always found NTR to be wonky). Even for anti-piracy purists, this is now elevating Pasta to a very competitive and usable platform. A+

it should be made more clear that the region free part of this is just kind of force loading the game, but it's not like home menu is now region free (which is the case with NTR) - using this thing out of region installed content still will not appear :)

I hope that the eshop spoof is gonna make its way to our O3DS.

And I agree, it would be great to see those features merged directly to Pasta CFW. Would be easier for users.

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

If you can find enough for it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates

    Sorry didnt read that part
