question, i have the 4.5.0.8e now, but my camera doesn't work well, should i try to update to 9.2 with some games and see if with the update the camera start to work properly againView attachment 19203 or it's better to stay at 4.5?

software will not fix the camera you'll need to input a hacked savegame using SDF.

i have an unlinked N3DS 9.0

gateway emunand --> installed pasta CFW with cubic ninja -

FBI doesnt work --> put title.db on sysnand folder, but when i go to software management - it tells me that the SD will be FORMATTED

and then i will lose my emunand..... any solution?

I think you just need the title db and something else, creap talked about it once on another site.

The ticket.db maybe? If it's that simple, then we only need one person to get ahold of a JP 3DS with a legit copy of CN installed, dump the ticket.db, and then anyone should be able to inject it and install a copy of CN that works from sysNAND.

Not if you downgrade your system's MSET, like what GW does for N3DS.

nope, the same method used by GW could be used to enable the MSET exploit on anything upto 9.2

well, see it would always be a chicken & egg situation, but if it was ported to spider, you could then use spider to downgrade MSET, or if you have access to CN you could just use it once to downgrade MSET then use MSET from that point forward

emunand is holy. But seriously installing stuff to sysnand (while mostly safe) is still dangerous. emuNAND not only gives GW more future proofing than sky3DS has ever had. Because if nintendo decides to patch sky and clones (which they can) your card won't ever work again. With GW you can nearly always update emunand to the latest version + all patching it will need to get around ninty updates are software (and thus free and not rendering the card completely useless.)

Also note how all things that make sky as good as gateway (minus emunand) are not made by the sky team...

You can launch launcher.dat built for mset with browser so it's not useless.

wouldnt go as far as to say "zero" risk, very minimal, but there is always room for *something* to go wrong

1. Install Palentine CFW
2. Install Save Data Filer
3. Have someone send you their installed NINJHAX save file
4. Install the save file with SDF.
5. Update to 9.2 somehow.
6. Install Pasta.

And tadaaa ! Good idea man.

Ok guys some news about my pull request:

-The firmware autoselection is done and fully working
-The ui is done and fully working, it only shows if you hold down L while PastaCFW homebrew app's boot.
-Boots in only few seconds!

But I need a 400x240 wallpaper to put on the top screen. I thought something related to pasta... Is there someone who could make it for me? Pasta picture + Pasta CFW name is enough...
