Homebrew Anyone to release a backup&restore nand&cartridge homebrew?

This is just a good idea but not experimented enougth on 3ds homebrews to do it so
if anyone think this a good idea then feel free to do it and release it as your

No need to do that, all that stuff is already possible with the Gateway Launcher or RXTools, as long as you are under or on 9.2.0

Even N3ds?,the problem is that with gateway you can't use nonjhax and it feel a bit wrong to hard reboot the 3ds everytime

Yeah on N3DS you have to use Gateway, or you can wait for KARL if it comes out S00N.
But if you want to use ninjhax and gateway launcher on your n3ds you have to uninstall ninjhax / gateway each time if you want to use the other.

NDS? but you would not be able to load them then

There is, but it only works on the original nds and ndslite... but yeah I know what you mean, sadly though nintendo made it impossible to dump ds games on newer systems, why they didn't do the same with 3ds games boggles the mind.

Yup, I usually use a DSL but using WiFi takes forever. Would be a lot easier and faster on the 3DS. Isn't the only reason why we can dump 3DS games is because we just launched GW Menu, meaning that access to slot 1 wasn't restricted as we have arm9 access? We simply cant do it with o3ds because we have to remove the flashcard and insert a game, then dump it.

Still thinking of a few ways of porting some old HB to the 3DS, so I can dump nds games...

How did they do this?

I don't know the exact method, but I think they basically locked access to the card 1 slot after the system boots, so it can only play a game but cant copy it.
