Just asking because I want to make sure:

Puzzle & Dragons Z [E] has FW v9.5.0€ included according to this list. More retail carts with FW versions > 9.2.0 are about to come. Now, if you are a SKY3DS user who wants to keep exploitability / Ninjhax compatibility you are screwed for these for now, correct? Meaning, you can't run these without updating and if you update you lose the exploit.

The FW version spoof, to my knowledge only works to access the eShop and won't do anything for playing games.

  • Sky3DS updated template file [05/08/2015]
Change logs:
1.Fixed some bugs.
2.Added game:
1245 - Puzzle and Dragons Z Plus Puzzle and Dragons Super Mario Bros Edition EU

It's confirmed that Sky3ds updated a template file to work with this new game! For playing it, you should used it on FW version 9.5.0 , the rxmode is only for O3DS, not available for N3DS yet.

People who update to 9.2 can use RegionFour :) (alternately older firmwares work with RegionThree on o3DS)

Oh, alright, sounds good! And I can safely upgrade via either Cooking Mama Bon Appetit [E] or Gardening Mama Forest Friends [E] according to this list, correct? To be perfectly honest, I don't like the idea of updating even to a safe FW version (what if the release list is wrong about the FW number?), and the method is a little inconvenient as it requires booting via CN, but I guess I'll do it anyway.

To all others: I have a N3DS, sorry, should have included this.

Actually, when it asks you to update it will tell you the firmware version it's updating to before you confirm, so no worries. And yes those games should work.

why not just backup your 3ds bios and keep it on aseparate card or your pc , like that even if you update it , you can flash back your backup
