Do you guys think this is even a remote possibility? Since Nintendo is FINALLY doing N64 ports and they almost don't seem to to care about Wii U anymore. It seems Wii U won't be getting anymore Gamecube remakes, so why not go out with a bang?!

Thoughts?

Not going to happen. Outside of legal reasons somebody else can cover it simply wouldn't be a 'Nintendo' thing to do.

I never had the pleasure playing this game. It looks very kiddish but when I watched a short trailer it didnt look like kids friendly.
Everyone ranks it so high I want to play it badly though :D

Even if Microsoft allows it- Nintendo won't do it. Back in the day, Nintendo didn't like that the game had a seemingly kid-friendly look but the game itself contained vulgar and inappropriate content, so they refused to publish the game or promote the game in any way. In the end, THQ published the game.

I might even go as far as to say that Conker was the reason Nintendo sold Rare to Microsoft in the first place. It caused a riff, and Nintendo didn't want Rare to continue to damage Nintendo's image with deceivingly crude games.

Yet they're okay with the likes of Bayonetta 2 (cleavage, sexiness, violence), Hyrule Warriors (cleavage) and Devil's Third (cleavage, nudity, violence)?

Times change. Back then Nintendo wouldn't even think of releasing physical DLC but now they do just like Activision and Disney.

The thing about Conker though is that by it's cartoony appearance that blends in with the likes of Mario, Donkey Kong and Banjo-Kazooie it's deceptive to children and parents as a child-friendly game. Those games you mentioned are obviously not deceptive in that way, perhaps excluding Hyrule Warriors but as you said, there's only cleavage there.

It's rated M if I'm not mistaken.
I think Nintendo just doesn't like the "Happy Tree Friends" approach of mixing gore with cute and lovable.
It's sorta like those vulgar/gory Pokémon fan videos plaguing the internet (and that PETA game for that matter).

Personally, I first played when I was 11 on PJ64. As a normal 11 year old I picked up on the more obvious alcohol references but not the less subtle ones and most of the slang, I didn't really think anything of the gore as I'm used to seeing my own blood and it was just so unrealistic and cheesy, I wouldn't even consider calling it gore (compared to Dragon Ball Z which I didn't like as a kid because of the violence), and the guns didn't bother me as I'd seen plenty of cartoons with guns. I didn't pick up on anything sexual because I'd never been taught anything sexual at that point.
So basically a lot of the stuff that Nintendo and 4kids get upset about aren't even a problem because kids who "need to be shielded" won't pick up on the things that they "need to be shielded from". In fact, in a silly cartoon format they're much less harmful because cartoons are unrelatable.
Power Rangers is probably the only kids show to get banned in New Zealand after many kids pretended they were Power Rangers and broke a lot of windows and legs while no cartoon (not even Dragon Ball Z) has sparked the same controversy here.

"so why not go out with a bang?!"

WiiU has at LEAST 3/4 years left.
NX is supposedly coming out next year
Something tells me that "It will be sold alongside the Wii U" is just PR for "We're gonna keep the Wii U around for 1 more year after the NX launches unless there is an unexpected increase in popularity and sales"

No it doesn't. The console came out in 2012- and Nintendo's consoles last five years, six max. At most- the Wii U has three years, but realistically, NX will arrive in 2017 and the Wii U's lifetime will be over in two years.

2017-18. Yeah.

Wii U's a colossal failure and the only real reason for anyone to get a Wii U is because of Mario Kart 8, Smash 4 or Bayonetta 2 (probably worth a rental and that's that).

Is there a source for it being out next year? No chance.

They may unveil something at E3 next year but no way is there a release coming that soon. Theres WiiU games that are 9 months away even.

Nintendo are always planning and developing their next system.

I predicted their next system/s will be a handheld/console hybrid.

You know they're releasing The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth this summer for 3DS and Wii U, which looks kids friendly, but is way worse than Conker. At least Conker doesn't pop pills every few minutes and gives his mother an abortion. So, Conker is not out of the realm of possibility.

Rare and Microsoft will never allow Nintendo to use their material. Conker the character is owned by Rare and they have plans for the next Conker game in the series . Hopefully Playtonic Games Yooka-Laylee will take a great dump on it.

Phil Spencer from Xbox has said that bringing Banjo Kazzoie is possible to Smash if Nintendo wanted so it's really just a matter of negotiations.
